Mary MacKillop Heritage Centre (MMHC) East Melbourne a place of inspiration and vitality, manifests and promotes the spirit and charism of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the Sisters of Saint Joseph. MMHC provides, through education, hospitality and charitable works, opportunities for all to experience and be challenged by the creative spirit and dynamism of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop’s life and work and the contribution of the Sisters of Saint Joseph to our heritage.

2022 Special Weekend Openings

On the following Saturdays* from 10.00am to 4.00pm:

  • Saturday 26 March: Celebrating Saint Joseph’s Feast Day (19 March)
  • Saturday 18 June: Celebrating the Feast of the Sacred Heart (23 June)
  • Saturday 6 August: Celebrating the Feast of Mary MacKillop (8 August)
  • Saturday 12 November : Celebrating Julian Tenison Woods Birthday (15 November) and Christmas
